The Color Room Palette #4 REVEAL (due before May 7th)

Another week has flown by.  We have so many amazing pieces of work on the Photo difficult to choose the Featured Artists this week.  Glad we passed it on to the DT to pick!!!  It's getting more difficult each week.  See the work the girls chose HERE.   Totally amazing work, well done Di Turner, Marisa, Lula, Stacey Young and Mumkaa!

So the new Palette is up (at the same link above)  It is taken from 'His Room' this week.  It features deeper and richer tones.  It was more challenging for me, but I LOVE feeling challenged!  So once I got started it was fine.  There is another sketch to have a play with too!

and heres what I created using this Palette

So.....that's it for another week for reveals.  Looking forward to seeing what everyone is going to create with these colours.  It is always exciting watching the work flood into the Photo Wall.  If you want to check it out see HERE

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

A couple more shares!!!!

This is called catch up!

Some more challenges from Scrapz

This one was a blind challenge.

Written instructions are given, then participants create a LO based on the instruction, then compare everyones interpretations at the end!  Its fun!

Right......Now we are up to date!

This one was for this week see HERE It is a "What's Cooking?" Challenge.  This one  you are given a list of ingredients and you must use those things to complete a LO!  Lot's of fun!

More cards......

These ones were a challenge a while ago over at SCRAPZ.BIZ

I have not gotten round to posting.....

A little prettier this time round!

Some My Minds Eye, some Prima, some Websters......a lovely mix!

Boys Cards.......

Some easy cards made from a 12x12 sheet of paper, with all the images
ready to cut out!

A good addition to my card stash for little boys birthdays!  (we seem to have an excess of little boys in our family!!!!)

Just a very quick share.......Bye!

The Color Room Palette #3 REVEAL

The next reveal is up....and My goodness it's a good one. The DT Artists did an amazing job....It looksgreat!!!
Well here is the palette...... go HERE to see some incredible work!

                                      So pretty!!!
This is what i created using these colours!

I got the idea for this LO from the torrent programme we use
to download tv programmes from the US. There is a section there where
you can see your computer in the centre receiving bits of information
being downloaded from many computers around the world in real time. The
people sending information to my computer are around the exterior of the
circle with lines moving towards the central computer (me) So this
represents my 'downloads' of inspiration from these incredible Artists
we have on our Team! My download lines are stitching.....hard to see!!!

I used texture paste on the circle, and glimmer misted it, then stitched it on to the base paper.  How nice and EASY to use the prima flowers, (some I painted, some I glimmer misted!)    I made the crochet flowers too.

Ok...that's it for today.  I will swing by later and load some other goodies I have done recently!  But i will save that for another day!

Have a great day!

A brand new VERY exciting venture is underway!
So what is The Color Room?  We hope that it will be a creative home
for everyone all over the world, a place for you to meet new
friends, to push your creativity, and to be inspired by one

Each week there will be a Color Inspiration Palette posted. This will consist of an inspirational image and four separate colors pulled from that image.  A sketch will accompany each week's challenge.
There will be technique tutorials in visual and written format. The creative
team has been working on video presentations to enhance every viewer's
technique skills.  There will be monthly drawings for
RAK's donated by our generous sponsors as well as the Design Team.

The Color Room is the perfect place to inspire and motivate, make you push your creativity to the limits...... Come Play with us!

So please drop by the Color Room, and join the rest of
the artists already there: Larissa

Leanne PearceRonda Palazzari, Emeline Seet, Kim Watson, Karola Witczak....and Me!

And to kick off our first Palette
reveal, here is my LO. I liked it so much I did two!!!!!

So.....Do you really need more convincing?

Get your self a coffee and drop in at the Color Room

I so so look forward to seeing you there!

You can tell I had a migraine doing this one above.  Firstly there is no
5.....just jump straight to six.  you can finish quicker that
way....secondly, it was around the time I was photographing these things
that DH was lovingly scrubbing -almost half, a HUGE tub of Modpodge out
of our dining room (cream coloured) carpet.  I so wanted to go back to
bed.  BUT I had a deadline!!!!!

So that's the Easter roundup!  It was all featured on for 2 weeks of Easter Challenges on the site!  Lots of fun!!!!
