MCS Tutorial for January

Welcome to January!
Heres a Tutorial on how I completed one of the Layouts I made with the Main Kit for this month.

The Kit looks like this.....

Loaded with fun stuff this month.

So here is the page.

It is able to hold 13 photos as is, or if you have more, you can easily alter the design to fit a few more in!...  and its a super easy and quick one to finish.

Ok.  Lets start.

I printed off my photos on a 6x4 print.  I was able to fit 12 onto the one 6x4.

They measure roughly 1.5 x 1.25 Inches.

I used an App on my i-phone called 'Fuzel'  Its my favourite photo collage app, and I can just select that particular collage and press print- right on my phone.

I cut various papers from the kit, 2 x 2 Inches
I stitched around each one on my sewing machine.  Just simple straight stitch.

Ink with Distress Ink.
(I used black soot)
Ink each little photo as well.

Place your Squares down in the design as you can see above.
Find the required letters for your title in the sticker sheets from the kit.

Add simple little accents to each photo.

I used the sewing machine some more, and my Tiny Attacher from Tim Holtz
Mount each on thin foam tape to add a little more dimension.

I typed the accent words I used on my typewriter, but printing or handwriting them would work too.
Cut them out nice and close and ink.  Then just glue into place.

Add three little label tabs from the alpha sheet in your kit, and the words/phrases for each one.
Tuck them in place.

I went round the very outside edge of my LO with a rough and unsteady pen line.

Cut a heart from the corugated card board in the kit add it to the middle, with some text.

and your page is done!

Thanks for stopping in today!
