EASTER CREATING.....

 

 

You can tell I had a migraine doing this one above.  Firstly there is no
5.....just jump straight to six.  you can finish quicker that
way....secondly, it was around the time I was photographing these things
that DH was lovingly scrubbing -almost half, a HUGE tub of Modpodge out
of our dining room (cream coloured) carpet.  I so wanted to go back to
bed.  BUT I had a deadline!!!!!

 

 
So that's the Easter roundup!  It was all featured on Scrapz.biz for 2 weeks of Easter Challenges on the site!  Lots of fun!!!!

Brace yourselves!

Here is the last weeks challenge on Scrapz

It is a round Robin LO.  Meaning that 3 of us worked 7 minutes at a time, on a LO and then passed it on.  So we choose our photo and products which co ordinated, then glued down what we wanted stuck where, then passed it on to the next person, round and round till we were up to journaling and titles (which we got back our own LO's to complete)  Fun fun fun!  It really does free up your creativity.  The three of us have done it before, so we are all pretty confident with each other, and we can relax and enjoy the process.

We have had a weekend full of friends and socialising.  It's been lovely, but I have quite the house in dissarray to be tended to!!!!  A cost I am willing to pay!!!  I value spending time with friends. 

January Build-a-page

This LO is based on the Prima Build a page sketch for January.
I have had these photos waiting to be done.....but it was quite a bit to fit on one page.....but it worked!
It was the first time I have submitted a page for a sketch comp.....I am usually better at drawing sketches than copying them! It was quite easy anyway, I enjoyed doing it.

Last two.......

Here are the last two I was working on.  Just for fun.....

 

I have enjoyed using Kraft CS.  It looks really lovely with a splash of colour.

And the Sketch.....incase I want to recycle ideas!!!!

And finally, photos I had sitting there waiting to be scrapped.  Backpain was a regular part of my life for about 10 years, and was more difficult to manage with toddlers.  You have to lift babies and toddlers out of cots, highchairs and strollers.....there is no choice!  It was nice to reflect on this having been 'pain free' for more than 2 years now.  Phew!

Ok....so that's the results of yesterdays Marathon.  and I do not feel as if I am done.....Yay.......children permitting....while the mess is all over the dining room table.....may as well use it!   Off I go!  (happily skipping away, whistling!)

Goodness.....when you actually get some scrapping done....it does take a while to resize and work with the photo's for the blog.  Anyway......

It's lovely scrapping photos that have been waiting for a while to be documented.  I grinned several times at this dear little face (that starts school on Wednesday!  Gulp......)

Playing with Prima

I have recently gotten my hands on some Prima from Scrapz.  I have been having a little fun!  Adding to what I already had, there is quite the stash to play with......I did 4 LO's yesterday.  Mighty easy stuff to work with in short!

 

I pulled apart the branch and got another LO out of it.  I just wired it back together for this LO.  It was a little heavy to use as was.
